Woov Heated Dog Bed Review

Dog beds come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, making it a challenging task to find the perfect one that meets your pet’s specific needs. However, if your dog tends to get chilly at night due to factors like aging, outdoor adventures, or simply being a pampered pooch, the Woov heated dog bed from Stoov could be the ideal solution you’ve been searching for.

Stoov, a renowned brand known for its innovative heating solutions for humans, has now extended its expertise to the realm of pet comfort with their line of dog beds, cleverly named ‘The Woov.’

The Woov heated dog bed comes in two variants, the Woov Woolly, made of a soft fabric that feels like sheepskin for indoor use only and the one that we have been trying out, the Woov Outdoor, which is made of a synthetic fabric that’s water and dirt repellent, as well as being UV resistant.

Both boast a sleek and modern design that effortlessly blends with any home decor and look like giant sofa cushions. I could tell that they will probably withstand daily use and retain their shape over time.

When it comes to comfort, Woov dog beds truly excel, the cushion is just so comfy (I know, because I have used it myself!!) and my dogs seem to love it. The fact that the are heated is especially beneficial for older dogs or those with joint issues. The Woov Outdoor is encased in a water-resistant liner, protecting it from accidents or spills. You can also wash the covers in the washing machine, but not the pillow itself.
The dog bed  uses smart infrared heat technology that is safe for both humans and animals and has 3 heat settings. it also has a timer and thermostat built in for extra safety which automatically shuts off after 8 hours so there’s no chance that your pet will overheat. I can actually imagine my dogs barking to let me know when it switches itself off, but so far they have not had the chance to use if for such a length of time. It is powered by a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 6 hours which takes around 4 hours to charge.

We tested our Woov out on a recent camping trip, my golden, Lucia, has very fine fur so sometimes does feel the cold during the night, and as she is not a fan of wearing fleeces or suchlike to sleep , the Woov was perfect for her,  She didn’t even try to get into my sleeping bag for once!  Actually when morning came, both dogs had managed to manoeuvre themselves onto the cushion and I have to admit that I was kind of jealous of the comfort level they had enjoyed!!

I feel that Stoov dog beds are an excellent buy for any dog parent seeking comfort and warmth for their beloved dogs. The combination of premium materials, thoughtful design, and the integrated heating system ensures a cosy and inviting space for your furry companion to sleep on. The beds’ durability and easy maintenance further add to their appeal, and although we have only had ours a short time I do envisage it to remain a firm favourite of my spaniels.

The Woov is not the cheapest dog bed on the market, prices start at £139.95  but that’s a small price to pay if your dog needs a bit of extra help to keep warm.
Visit the Stoov Website to find out more, you could even treat yourself to a human version!!

Love Sal, Maya and Lucia xxx
