When it comes to my dogs, ensuring their comfort and safety is of utmost importance, both at home and when travelling or on camping adventures. Recently I got the opportunity to try out some of Veehoo.com’s innovative products that are just as at home in the great outdoors as they are in your living room, and I have found them really useful, especially when camping and visiting friends.
Camping with dogs really is a joyful experience, but it also requires careful planning to ensure that the dogs are safe and happy when the hikes are done and they are relaxing at the camp site. Veehoo.com’s travel crates provide a perfect solution to allow dogs to settle in while pitching the tent and I have found it especially useful to put Maya in when we have the fire pit going, because as she is such a foodie, I worry about her helping herself to a sausage or something, as she has been known to slip the stake. In the past she has been known to invite herself to strangers picnics so it will be coming with us then from now on!!
One standout feature of Veehoo Soft Folding Travel Crates that I love is that they are fully collapsible and pack flat in the car. They are really of sturdy construction and are made from Catonic Oxford Fabric, Heavy Weight Mesh, and a collapsible steel frame. The crate has 3 roll up doors and It literally takes less than a minute to set up!
If you are short of room for your regular crate they would be fine for dogs to travel in the car. The crates are also designed with proper ventilation, allowing for optimal airflow and reducing the risk of overheating.

We all know how unpredictable the weather is in the UK and I have found that the Veehoo Cooling Elevated Dog Bed is just perfect to take on camping trips. Not only does it allow air to circulate when the dogs are laying down on it, but it has protected the spaniels from getting damp fur laying on the ground outside the tent.
The mesh used on Veehoo’s cooling raised dog beds is breathable, waterproof and heat-resistant and the framework is made from powder coated steel tubes. The breathable mesh allows the warm body heat to dissipate, helping them to stay cool in the heat.
I couldn’t believe how stable the bed was, in fact because the sample I received was size XL, (which I wanted as Maya and Lucia like to share a bed) a fellow camper thought it was a camp bed and took a seat on it! The rubber feet are non-skid and a cute paw shape!

A Dog Bed For Chewers
Veehoo also sent us a Chew Proof Elevated Dog Bed, now fortunately my spaniels are not chewers but I know many dog owners have experienced the frustration of buying their pooch a new dog bed, only to find it chewed to pieces in the morning! This bed would be ideal for dogs with this habit!
These beds are constructed from Rustless Aluminium and Better Textilene Mesh Fabric, especially selected to be resistant to chewing. Apparently they will withstand the persistent gnawing of even the most determined chewers, because the fabric edges are cleverly concealed in the framework so your dog has little chance of getting a hold. Obviously, because as I said Lucia and Maya do not chew I could not test this but they sure look worth a try. The Anti-Chew raised bed takes a little longer to put together than the cooling one and does require screwing together so it is maybe not an option for camping, but it can be used outside in the garden
Anyway the bed has met with the approval of my dogs to just take a nap on so they must be comfortable!
